Oh Slade Slimey (Slade Smiley)- you truly are grotesque. It has now come to light that the reason for his arrest? His warrants are for outstanding child support & the medical bills of his 8 yr old son who for last few yrs fought a rare brain cancer."This is an unfortunate situation that has occurred," Smiley said. "My son is very ill and we have been working on resolving the issue of support versus his enormous medical bills with the appropriate agencies for several months now. It is sad that individuals would take advantage of the situation in an attempt to defame and discredit me in such a public manner. For those who know me, there is nothing more important than my children."Smiley, was released later that night after posting $10,000 bail.Mr. Smiley has (8) counts of contempt of court; failure to follow court orders related to back child support from 2005 and 2006 for his youngest son. He has never had full custody of his children.
So he has an extra 10 grand for bail- just not his sons medical bills or child support? I guess all that moohlah was better spent being seen at swanky restaurants dropping cash to the valet and impressing his one of the many Jo replicas as seen on TMZ or E. UGHUnfreaking believable that people like this are allowed to have kids! Also disgusting is the implication that because he was arrested in Costa Mesa- and Gretchen happens to live in Costa Mesa ( supposedly) was arrested at Gretchen's house. There have been tons of rumors that he shopping Bravo to have a show about he and Gretchen getting together.
Knowing now that his son was sick- this model parent chose to have the kid participate on Daddy's grasp at 10 min of fame. I feel sick at the episode where Jo is frustrated and complaining about said child after dragging him throughout the store so they can go to the beach- what kinda monsters are these people?
Someone with wayyy too much time on their hands is posting under photoglou- if its the real guy- soo pathetic- if its someone pretending to be him? immature pathetic!

Gaads why is so darn hard to believe that a pretty gal would go for a not so pretty guy?
As someone who has dated a few successful men- I can say- it aint what they look like- its all about their confidence that makes them attractive!

oh the Horror!

Well, tonight was the last episode of Real housewives of Orange County.

I gotta say , it made me sick to my stomach.

I looked forward to the fun all week, dying to see who Jeana's mystery date was, curious about who else was going to show at the party besides Jo De La I am a singer now and Slade Slimey. It was fun to see Jeana get the date she deserved- albeit with a man who did not own a dress shirt at the time. She was glowing and it was just sheer fun to see!

How that Briana came out so normal is beyond me. That girl has a great head on her shoulders despite her mothers personality.

The horrid actions of Tamra and Vicki were unbelievable! They seemed to come to a giant warhead aimed at Gretchen ( a nice break for Lynn I am sure). For Gretchen who obviously can't compete financially with these other women, to go out of her way to get them small tokens of appreciation did not seem "kiss ass" at all. (Coach coin purses approx 50 bucks a pop.) No, it seemed sweet, like Gretchen in her young way. Naturally Vicki could only think that someone would give a nice gesture like that only out of some personal motive- because that's how Vicki thinks and operates.

Was Vicki Gunvalson teased and cajoled in high school since she was the pimply faced outcast or what? Her actions certainly seem high school enough. She probably hated the cheerleaders and would try to trip them or something. So far this season Gretchen has done nothing to these women- while they ( Vicki and Tamra Barney) have conspired and done their best Brutus impression by stabbing her in the back. ( Tamra you will want to look up who Brutus is).

How sweet was it for Jeff to think about Gretchen there all alone without him and arrange the surprise for her. It seemed genuine and appropriate. While Simon Barney seemed concerned with being the Jones's and making Sure to name drop where the little bracelet was purchased from since he obviously begged them for a discount or some sort of publicity kick back.- he sounded like a commercial, white gold and blah blah. I have news for you Simon and Tamra- I know people worth a hell of alot more than you two could ever hope to be and they do not flaunt their wealth or go around saying "I bought my wife this helicopter- it has genuine leather seats and a blah blah"- see they have this little thing - its called class. Something that Jeana could teach you about. Clearly she being the kind gracious one of the bunch was chosen to announce Jeff's death at the end of the show. Not either of you bone pickin' low class money grubbers.

The reiteration of Vickis need of approval thru monetary gain and collection of things was priceless. She finally got her Rolex- and had to make sure that everyone knew it. I can sure see being proud of ones accomplishments but it just seemed like one her many attempst at "notcie me- love me" poor Don it must be exhausting being married to this woman. She needs some therapy in a big way. Her going around telling people the motorbike was fake with Tamra going arund saying ashe copied me- ( because apparently its unfathomable that any other woman in America coulkd want a Harley) Please ladies- there is so much more going on in the world than your ridiculus natures!

Hurrah to see the lovely Lauri and Tammy again- but where was Quin? Why was she so obviously excluded? I think its so brave of Lauri to say- I have a kid on drugs. Wow now there's some reality for ya!

I wonder if this show can continue. I would hate to have to watch another season of Vicki and Tamra being mean. Couldn't Jeana just get her own show?

Dear Diary

I never had a diary growing up. This is the modern day equivalent. A place to send thoughts out into the great unknown.

About me? I am an obsessive knitter and knit pattern collector. I also collect vintage patterns and clothes as well as vintage crafting and home decor books. I'm a terrible insomniac, so my blogging will most like occur in the punch drunk blurry eyed wee hours, where typos abound from the barbie sized keypads.

I will start by blogging about my current and embarrassing addiction. The Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo. I have watched from the beginning. Being a remote control TV watcher I switch channels when I am disappointed or bored so I do miss small chunks along the way. I am trying to correct that. For the sake of accuracy I will be watching all the episodes again. Yes, people even the ones with Jo De Lerosa and ( shudder) Slade Smarmy I mean Slade Smiley.

Let me begin by saying I am one of the few people that actually likes Lauri Waring Peterson. I think its awful how people are making stupid uneducated often blasphemous comments about these people.

Things I want to say about them

Look- wouldn't you want your new wife to get off a show that has people writing horrible negative things and dredging things that are nobodies business? After seeing photos of his gorgeous ex wife- who is doing some crazy ass things being Dennis Rodmans girlfriend- is it any wonder that he fell in love with the pretty ( albeit cosmetically enhanced) mother who obviously cares about her children and making a better future for them?

Some people say Laurie exploited her sons issues by airing them. Um What? Do you think after you have signed a contract with a TV show once you have completed tons of filming that they are going to let you out of the deal? Besides- what is wrong with sharing the truth about your family's problems? Maybe we should all go back to the days where say.. people never talked about child molestation- so more creeps got away with it? Do people actually think- that it wasn't hard or frankly embarrassing for her to show that? I for one wouldn't have had the balls to let it air.
